Anthropometric nutritional assessment and hemoglobin level in adolescents of an educational institution Huancayo 2023

Objective: to determine the relationship between anthropometric nutritional assessment and hemoglobin level in adolescents from a secondary educational institution in the district of Sapallanga Huancayo 2023. Material and Methods: basic type study with correlational level, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, a population of 90 adolescents enrolled in the 1st grade of secondary school and the sample has been census, to obtain the data the documentation technique has been used and the instrument was a data collection sheet, for the hypothesis test I use Spearman's Rho. Results: A nutritional assessment was identified according to the body mass index, a percentage greater than 50% with normal nutritional status in adolescents, it was also identified that 71.1% of the adolescents had a normal nutritional assessment for the height/height indicator. age and 62.2% of adolescents have a normal hemoglobin level. Conclusions: It was determined that there is a significant relationship with -0.248 and a p value = 0.018, likewise 35.6% (n=32) present malnutrition with a normal hemoglobin level and 14.4% (n=13) present malnutrition with a degree of anemia.
