The scientific journal Visionarios en Ciencia y Tecnología, published by the Universidad Privada de Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt, accepts original and unpublished scientific research manuscripts regarding public health, primarily in the fields of Nursing, Obstetrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Biochemistry, and Management.
General Requirements

Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished.

Language: Articles may be written in Spanish or English.

Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word, ISO A4 size (212 x 297 mm), single-sided, and double-spaced.

Peer Review: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Editorial Quality: The Editorial Committee ensures compliance with international standards to maintain scientific excellence.

Liability: Opinions expressed by authors are their sole responsibility and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the editors or the institution.

Editing Rights: The Committee reserves the right to edit manuscripts to improve clarity, grammar, and style.

Standardization: The journal adheres to the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals (Vancouver Style) issued by the ICMJE.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Manuscripts must be delivered to the Research Institute Office at Av. Giráldez N° 542 – Huancayo (Monday to Friday, 08:00–13:00 and 17:00–20:00) or sent via email to: revistavisionarios@uroosevelt.edu.pe.

File Specifications: Microsoft Word format, A4 size, Times New Roman font, size 12.

Tables: Must be created in Microsoft Excel.

Ethics: * Human Subjects: Authors must declare compliance with international ethical standards for human research.

Animal Research: Authors must state adherence to international ethical guidelines for animal experimentation.

Conflict of Interest: Any situation implying a potential conflict of interest must be disclosed.

Copyright: Upon consideration for publication, all total or partial reproduction rights are transferred to Revista Visionarios en Ciencia y Tecnología.

EDITORIAL

ORIGINAL ARTICLES: Basic or clinical research that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

Length: Maximum 15 pages (excluding tables and figures).

REVIEW ARTICLES: Critical evaluations of previously published literature on selected topics, enriched by the author's expertise. Must include citations and illustrative figures.

CASE REPORTS: Documenting cases of diagnostic interest, evolution anomalies, rare observations, or significant therapeutic responses.

JOURNAL REVIEWS: Analysis of original articles from national or international journals. Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permissions.

CHRONICLES: Reports on historical cases or events related to medicine and institutional life.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Comments regarding previously published articles. Must maintain professional and ethical language. The journal reserves the right to edit for length.

Title: In both Spanish and English (maximum 15 words).

Abstract & Keywords

Spanish Abstract (Resumen): Structured, maximum 250 words. Sections: Objetivos, Material y Método, Resultados, Conclusiones. Followed by 3–4 keywords (DeCS terms: http://decs.bvs.br/).

English Abstract: Structured, maximum 250 words. Sections: Objective, Material and Methods, Results, Conclusions. Followed by 3–4 Keywords (MeSH terms: https://meshb.nlm.nih.gov/search).
Body of the Manuscript

Introduction: Concise review of background and study rationale. Use strictly pertinent references.

Abbreviations: Use only standard abbreviations; avoid them in the title and abstract.

Materials and Methods: Clear description of research type, setting, dates, population, subject selection, and procedures. Specify statistical tests used.

Results: Logical description of data supported by statistics. Tables should not have internal gridlines and must not exceed two pages.

Discussion: Interpretation and comparison of results. Highlight academic/practical significance and suggest future research lines.

Acknowledgements: (Optional) Recognition of supporting individuals or institutions.

Listed on a separate sheet in numerical order of appearance. Use parentheses or superscripts.

Note: Unpublished data and personal communications are not valid references.
