The scientific journal Visionarios en Ciencia y Tecnología is sponsored by the Universidad Privada de Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt and has been in continuous publication since 2016. It publishes original and unpublished scientific research articles primarily focused on public health, specifically in the fields of Nursing, Obstetrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Biochemistry, and Management.

Our primary objective is to disseminate new scientific advances to society at large and to support faculty and researchers, both nationally and internationally, in their future scholarly endeavors.

General Information

  • Frequency: Semiannual (2 issues per year).

    • Period 1: January – June.

    • Period 2: July – December.

  • Peer Review: All original articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by professional experts in the authors' fields.

  • Article Types: Original research, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor.

  • Open Access: All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

EDITORIAL POLICIES

Focus and Scope

Manuscripts submitted to Visionarios en Ciencia y Tecnología must be original, unpublished, and address public health-related topics within the areas of Nursing, Obstetrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Biochemistry, and Management. Submissions must be the intellectual property of the authors and must not have been previously published or be under consideration by any other journal. We accept manuscripts in both Spanish and English.

Clinical Trial Registration

Articles concerning Human Health must comply with the clinical trial registration policies of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Consequently, clinical trials submitted for publication must be registered and include a unique identification number from a registry validated by WHO/ICMJE criteria. This identification number must be included at the end of the abstract.

Ethical Standards

The journal adheres to the international ethical standards and codes of conduct established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), specifically following the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Visionarios en Ciencia y Tecnología is a platinum open-access journal. It does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, editorial processing, or publication.
