Abstract

The objective of this study was determine the relationship between managerial competencies and professional success among licensed administrators in the Junín region, 2025. The study had a quantitative approach, was basic in type, correlational in level, and non-experimental with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 50 licensed administrative professionals, selected through non-probabilistic convenience and judgment sampling. The survey technique and a questionnaire instrument were used for data collection. The results showed that, regarding the variable managerial competencies, 52% of respondents rated their competencies as excellent and 40% as good. Regarding the professional success variable, 72% rated their level as good, while 14% rated it as excellent and 14% as fair. It was concluded that managerial competencies are positively and significantly related to professional success among licensed administrators in the Junín region, 2025. According to the statistical results, the obtained p-value was 0.000 < 0.05; therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In addition, Spearman’s correlation coefficient was 0.559, indicating a moderate correlation between both variables.
