The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between work overload and work procrastination among employees at a private university in Huancayo during 2024. A basic, quantitative study was conducted, utilizing a descriptive level and a correlational design. Data were collected through a survey technique, using a 68-item work overload questionnaire and a 15-item work procrastination scale. The relationship between the variables was assessed using Pearson's and Spearman's correlation coefficients. No significant relationship was found between workload and procrastination (r = 0.010). Likewise, no significant associations were observed between workload and the dimensions of activity postponement (r = -0.023) and avoidance (r = -0.095). In contrast, the responsibility dimension showed a weak positive correlation (r = 0.207), indicating a low-magnitude association between the variables, in conclusion the workload was not significantly associated with procrastination among the workers evaluated. However, a weak association was identified with the responsibility dimension.
